0 The date and time seem to be taken from the DAB data stream.

0 If you don't have a good signal you might not get some of the data. This is sort of a guess as I have just bought one today and I have not checked out all the features. I noticed that the software version is 1.0 on mine and was searching for updates when I came across this website. How I would update is not clear yet as I have not taken the back off yet. I might buy another as it is working well for me and a very good price.
