the cable for the control speaker was hit on the b...

the cable for the control speaker was hit on the bass side. the pins in the plug have been broke. Lost power in the control speaker. Still works,But with no power to the control speaker I have no vol. & bass control. I guess I need a new control speaker. Can I remover and replace the plug?. Chris
