0 We have this problem all the time. It seems like the sound input crashed on the digital theater. I think that what's normally wrong is that somehow the optical digital input loses sync with the digital sync. You have to UNPLUG the theater COMPLETELY for about 5-10 seconds until all the power drains from the power supply. It's not a bad idea to get an extension cord with a power switch and plug the theater into this cord. Once you FULLY power cycle the theater, the sound works again. What a pain!
