Hello, good people! I've recently got an AKAI M-8 tape recorder (valves and all), with a bunch of old tapes. The latest one is "Arthur Rubinstein at Carnegie Hall" from 1961! After I changed one dead valve, now it works fine, and the sound is really good, as long as you feed it into external speakers. However, I can hear a few crackles from time to time, and I'd like to get rid of them. There are the usual ones that come from the volume and tone knobs, but there are also some random crackles, especially when I'm rewinding a tape. If you have a users manual, that could help. If you have a service manual for this tape recorder, it would be excellent! Thank you very much in advance Vedran
