Question About Aiwa Stereo System None

aiwa nsx-aj310 problems 1. cd player does not work,will not read the disk 2. when power is turned on the tape player clicks 3 times also i cannot get the tape player to work i dont have a remote controll for this unit 3. my main problem i want to know why the unit shuts off when i turn my volume up to 18 what can i do to fix this ? please help ! just_be_there@hotmail.com

0 mine was doing that, I removed two screws at top rear an removed top. I used canned air to clean working parts, tightened screw at center of tray a bit and aligned the tray to the mechanism. Working for time being.
