Question About Aiwa Stereo Receiver AV-D25
5.1 surround...

I have audio right & left going from my set top uverse box to my aiwa av-d25 video 1 input. Does the processor split the audio to 5.1 surround, or do I need to figure out a way to use the separate 5.1 inputs
