I have an Aiwa Surround Sound Theatre system Model #cx-nmt720. Has a 3 disc player, am/fm, and 2 cassette decks (one on right allows recording/dubbing) Everything works great except cassette player/recorder. The door is stuck open on the right (recording) side and each time I turn the unit on it clicks loudly for 20 seconds. I cannot play any cassettes. Is it hopeless? I've tried closing the door but it won't catch. Someone put cassette in wrong way then pulled door open to get it out.
