Yesterday a cd stuck coming out (which i retrieved with tweezers!) but today i turned it on and it worked for about 30 seconds before just dying....the face is just dead no lights whatsoever...yet there seems to be electric getting to unit...well theres a red light flashing?? any ideas?

I just purchase a kenwood lz701w 7" monitor. I t didnt come with anything but the monitor. What else do i need to hook it up besides the quick release bracket. I only one place to plug any wires in and part of it is already in the monitor. the part that plugs in vertically is there. It has a female hole. it looks like its missing a male type plug. anyone know what i need.

i bought a car a year ago with this cd player in it and all the sudden it flashed protect and and i reset it but it wants a code and i dont know it can i reset the code somehow cuz the owner is over seas and i dont have his number
