I cannot get this to work after many ipod updates. Every ipod I plug in, plays whichever list it wants too. My friend bought the same stereo and his ipod works on his and not mine. Please help, this is a brand new stereo and I would like to refer it to other buyers but I don't feel comfortable until this works.

we cannot get the ipod dock to work.
we have tried many ipods and updated the ipods per the manual. this didn't help. my friend has same stereo and his ipod dock works, when he puts it in mine it doesn't. pls help

when i use tuner to change bands I get bands called A , J, a left facing housetop symbol with the letter R, blank, R, a rt facing housetop by itself, AF, N, and back to A. I cannot change the clock either-it goes from "sleep" to "clock". The cd player seems to be working fine. Thanks lots

I'm not sure what happened, its 1 of 2 scenarios- a 2nd CD was loaded into slot 1 or the cd moved & isn't in correctly, either way -help! More info- none of the cds will play or open. Display shows a flashing CD 1 while the others a solid. Tried to get help through the JustAnswer site and they told me to unscrew the top panel of the rotating cd player - umm... there is no top panel or rotating disc player on the ES700. I was then advised to take it to a local repair shop and charged $15!
