OPERATION
Caution:
Turn down the volume on your sound source
(radio, CD player, TV) before plugging in the head-
phones.
Insert the plug into the EARPHONE or similarly marked
output jack on your sound source. Then adjust the head-
band for the best fit and maximum listening comfort.
USING THE MUTE CONTROL
To temporarily reduce the level of the sound source,
press the mute button on the headphone cord. Release to
restore sound.
COLLAPSING THE HEADPHONES
Your headphones collapse for convenient storage. Follow
these steps to fold them.
1. Hold the headphones as shown in illustration 1 with
the name Optimus on the right earpiece facing you.
2. Rotate each earpiece 90° clockwise.
3. Gently swivel each earpiece inwards to the right as
far as it will turn.
4. From that position, rotate the right earpiece 90° coun-
terclockwise until the cushion is beneath the head-
band (see Illustration 2). Repeat for the left earpiece.
5. Adjust the length of the headband so that the bottom
of each earpiece can be brought together for the
smallest storage size.
