features a top-loading dock for iPhone/iPod. This direct digital
connection allows you to access videos, podcasts, and music in AAC
and MP3 formats. As the audio and video signals are transported in
digital form, rather than analog, there is much less possibility of signal
degradation. Tracks on your iPhone/iPod can be browsed, skipped, and
shuffled using the accompanying remote control.
Front Panel USB Port for Flash Drives
Now you can use your flash drive as a music source for the whole
room. Using the CS-545UK’s front-panel USB port, you can access MP3
and WMA files from USB flash drives that support the USB Mass
Storage Class standard. Once your device is connected, you can use the
CS-545UK’s remote control to play back your music.

Quality Speakers with Proprietary Onkyo Performance
Features
The CS-545UK includes a pair of two-way, bass-reflex speakers that
incorporate a number of Onkyo speaker technologies. The woofer
diaphragms are made from OMF (Onkyo Micro Fiber)—a durable
material comprising molded layers of aramid and cotton. This material
effectively absorbs unwanted vibrations while providing the stiffness
needed to ensure a fast and accurate response. On the edge of the
diaphragms, V-Line Edge also works to minimize unwanted vibration.
Furthermore, each speaker features a soft-dome tweeter to deliver
high-frequency sounds with greater finesse.
