MiLAN's MIL-S3570 Layer 2+ managed switch provides dedicated bandwidth to workgroups by
delivering twenty-four 10/100 Mbps auto-sensing ports with two optional Gigabit Ethernet fiber
ports. The MIL-S3570 features wire speed switching, VLAN support and tagging, port trunking,
port mirroring and software routing.
The MIL-S3570 is designed with a non-blocking switching fabric for resolving congestion problems
caused by bandwidth-hungry devices, bandwidth-intensive applications, or a high number of
segment users. High preformance is obtained with very low latency through single store-and-
forward process at the data entry port and cut-through forwarding at the destination port.
Management of the MIL-S3570 is easy with the console port providing local management while
Web-based management is provided via any network device.
Gigabit Ethernet ports provide high speed connectivity links to other switches and servers and
provide data at wire speed to backbone networks. This layer 2+ switch offers connecting VLANs
with routing without the extra expense of buy ing a separate router.
