Turning the Power On and Off

Press <ZONE2 ON/OFF> for the zone to be operated.

Press [ZONE2 ON] or [ZONE2 OFF].
Selecting the Input Source

Press <ZONE2 / REC SELECT>, then turn <SOURCE SELECT>.

Set [SOURCE CONTROL 1] to “AUDIO” and [SOURCE CONTROL 2] to
“ZONE2” (main remote control unit).
Press [SOURCE SELECT].
Adjusting the Volume
Set [SOURCE CONTROL 1] to “AUDIO” and [SOURCE CONTROL 2] to
“ZONE2” (main remote control unit).
Press [VOLUME].

The ZONE2 volume can be adjusted only when “ZONE2” is selected
at “System Setup” – “Option Setup” – “Amp Assign” (vpage 28).

Turning off the Sound Temporarily
Set [SOURCE CONTROL 1] to “AUDIO” and [SOURCE CONTROL 2] to
“ZONE2” (main remote control unit).
Press [MUTING].
b To cancel, either adjust the volume or press [MUTING] again.
The setting is canceled when the zone’s power is turned off.
The source selected for ZONE2 is also output from the recording
output connectors.
NOTE
Digital audio signals input from the COAXIAL or OPTICAL connectors
cannot be played in multi-zone.
