5) Power Off during Recording
If you attempt to put the FV-L1 into standby mode while a recording is
in progress, a “Power Off” dialog will be displayed, as shown below.
You can then choose from the following options;
Later: the FV-L1 will return to standby mode when the current
recording(s) have completed.
Yes: the current recording(s) are stopped and the FV-L1 goes into
standby mode immediately.
No: the standby mode procedure is cancelled and the FV-L1 remains
on.
Use the
LEFT/RIGHT
buttons to select your desired option and press
OK
.
If a timer starts while the FV-L1 is in standby mode, the FV-L1 will turn
on automatically and perform its operation until the timer has
completed. If remote control activity is detected during this period, the
FV-L1 will remain on so you can continue to use it without interruption,
otherwise it will return to standby mode.
NOTE
If AC power is not supplied to the FV-L1 properly (e.g. a power
blackout), it cannot perform a timer recording. If a timer fails due to
this reason, this timer remains in the timer list as notification.
If AC power is restored within a timer’s duration, the timer will
become active immediately and recording will begin.
If AC power is not supplied for a long period i.e. several hours, the
internal clock of the FV-L1 will lose it’s time setting, and all timers will
fail until the time setting is restored (see “Time Setting” section in
Chapter 4).
If you do not respond to the “Power Off” pop-up dialog, the FV-L1 will
behave as if you selected “Later”, and return to standby mode when
the recording is finished
