Time Setting
The date and time information is used to start timer recordings.
Therefore, you need to configure the time and date information
precisely. You can also select preferred date and time formats. The
following picture illustrates the items which you configure to set the
time and date.
Mode: Select how to obtain the date and time information. Choose
either of the following options;
AUTO the time and date information is received automatically
from the digital broadcast signal when you turn on the FV-L1.
MANUAL the time and date information is set by you, and
maintained by the FV-L1’s internal clock.
NETWORKthe time and date information is received from the
NTP(Network Time Protocol) server.
Please note if choosing AUTO mode that broadcasters can occasionally
transmit the wrong time and date information, and this can cause
problems with recording schedules.
Date Format: Select a display format for the date either
DD/MM/YYYY”,MM/DD/YYYYor YYYY/MM/DD from the pop-up
menu. (DD-day, MM-month, YYYY-year)
Time Format: Select your preferred time format, either 12-hour or
24-hour format.
Time Offset (for MANUAL mode only): Set the difference between
GMT and your local time zone e.g. Sydney and Melbourne = +10:00.
Current Time (for MANUAL mode only): Set the current date and time.
Daylight Saving (for AUTO mode only): Enable or disable Daylight
Saving time-offset.
Region: (for AUTO mode only): Select your region so that the correct
GMT offset is showing in Time Offset.
NOTE
Your selected date and time format will be applied to all date and
time displays in the graphical menus.
