DM5
Stand-mount/Bookshelf loudspeaker system
Product Summary
The DM5 is the successor to the D5 which in recent years has earned a worldwide reputation for
out-performing many loudspeaker systems.
The DM5 has extremely low system resonance and ‘Q’ typically a system resonance of some
53Hz and a “Q” of 0.7 - figures that would do credit to loudspeakers four times its size.
Technical highlights
The bass/midrange unit has been redesigned using new suspension materials, and by a
small increase in the enclosure volume of the D5.
The improvements are of vital importance in the useful extension of low frequency
performance and allowing the unit to be tightly coupled in a room by wall mounting or by
fitting in a bookshelf.
