AudioSource AMPONE/A Stereo Amplifier User Manual

Owner’s Manual
Congratulations on your purchase. Please take a few moments to read this manual, and retain it for reference. The Pre One/A is the control
center for your audiovideo system. It features versatile switching and dubbing capabilities, with six inputs for line level components. Two sets
of master line outputs allow for either a direct subwoofer connection or multiple amplifiers. Two AC power inputs permit direct connection
of system components. The Pre One/A carries a full, two year, transferrable warranty.
Front Panel Controls
Power
This front panel button switches the unit on or off. A multicolore d
LED indicates its power status.
Input Selector Buttons (Tape, Tu n e r, Aux, CD, DVD, LD)
Press any of these buttons to select the input source. The red LED
indicates your selection. These buttons correspond to the wiring on
the back panel, so the CD button, for example, selects the unit
plugged into the CD input. The tape button activates a tape loop,
allowing you to use a signal processor (graphic equalizer, surround
sound processor, etc.). The tape button can be on while another but-
ton is also selected, allowing you to equalize or process CD’s, video-
tapes, radio broadcasts, or other signals.
Bass & Treble Controls
Tu rn these controls clockwise to increase the amount of bass (low fre-
quencies) or treble (high frequencies). The 12:00 position indicates a
flat response, equal levels of bass, treble and midrange.
Balance Control
Tu rn this knob counterclockwise to increase the volume of the left
channel, clockwise to increase the volume of the right channel. The
12:00 position indicates equal output to each channel.
Volume Control
Turn this control clockwise to increase the overall system volume. Be
careful not to set the volume so high as to cause distortion, as this
could damage the speakers and amplifier.
