Thermal shutdown
The Verdi Cento is an extremely reliable product and a lot of protective systems have been built into in it. In addition to the
traditional protection against current overload and short-circuit the Verdi cento has two different kinds of overheating protection
on the power stages and a specific heat protection placed into the toroidal transformer. Furthermore, we have added a protective
device that continuously measures the overall temperature inside the unit and will disconnect the loudspeakers if the
temperature is too high. In such cases the music will turn off and the leds around the volume knob will start to rotate very quickly
to indicate the alarm has occurred.

Il Verdi Cento è un apparecchio estremamente affibabile e molte protezioni sono state introdotte. Oltre alla tradizionale
protezione contro la sovracorrente e il cortocircuito, il Verdi Cento ha due tipi di protezioni termiche nello stadio di Potenza e una
protezione termica specifica integrata nel trasformatore toroidale. Inoltre abbiamo aggiunto una protezione che monitora la
temperatura generale all’interno dell’apparecchio e disconnette i diffusori se la temperature è troppo elevata. In questo caso la
musica verrà disattivata e i Leds intorno alla manopola volume inizieranno a ruotare velocemente per indicare l’intervento della
protezione.
