The device is designed and manufactured following European Community Directives 89/336/CEE and /72/23/CE
and is CE approved.
The device must not be used for purposes other that for which it is expressly designed.
AUDIO ANALOGUE cannot be held responsible for accidents or damage due to improper use of the device.
WARNING
When carrying out any operation, be sure to follow the safety guidelines described in this manual.
Avoid opening the unit. No further servicing than that described in this manual should be attempted. Refer to
all servicing to authorized AUDIO ANALOGUE dealers and qualified technicians.
If the rules described in this manual are not respected, the warranty will cease as a consequence.
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS AND MAINTENANCE
ATTENTION: before using or attempting any service operation on the unit, please take time to read
this manual.
In order to prevent any danger of accident, the following rules must be respected
Switch on the unit only after ensuring correct installation according to the instructions contained in this manual.
Do not install the unit where there may be extreme changes of temperature and humidity.
Ensure that any labels showing safety information are visible and in good condition.
Place the unit on a hard, flat surface not covered by carpet or other soft material, and allow at least 6 inches
clearance all around the cabinet. The ventilation holes should not be obstructed, to avoid the amplifier overheating.
Do not install the unit near radiators or heat sources and allow adequate ventilation at all times.
Do not switch on the unit until it is correctly installed.
Connect the unit to the AC mains supply as indicated on the label. If in doubt, refer to a qualified technician.
This unit must be earthed. As its enclosure is made of metal, a loose or missing earth may be dangerous.
If the AC power cord is damaged, it must be replaced with another of the same type. Take care to unplug at
the wall socket before doing so.
Always replace fuses with same type.
Do not use the unit near water or any type of liquid. If liquid spills into the unit, immediately unplug the power
cord from the wall socket avoiding touching the metal case of the unit. Refer to a qualified technician to inspect
the unit before operating it again.
Do not place any container containing liquid on top of the unit, even if switched off.
Keep the unit away from heat sources such as direct sunlight, cookers, radiators, etc.
Always disconnect the power cord from the wall socket during a thunderstorm.
Always switch off and disconnect the unit from the mains supply before cleaning.
Cleaning externally: wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth. Never use any solvents or alcohol-based cleaning liquids.
If the unit is moved from a cold place to a warm one, condensation may form inside it which could cause
malfunctioning. To avoid this, allow the unit to stand at least 1 hour to gradually reach room temperature.
Unplug the unit from the mains if unused for long periods.

To fit a mains plug, please follow these instructions:
The wires in the mains Iead are coloured in accordance with the following code:
- Green/Yellow Earth (E)
- Blue Neutral (N)
- Brown Live (L)
As the colours of the wires in the mains Iead of this appliance may not correspond with the coloured markings
identifying the terminals in your plug, proceed as follows:
The wire which is coloured green and yellow must be connected to the terminal in the plug which is marked
with the letter E or by the earth symbol …, or coloured green and yellow;
The wire which is coloured blue must be connected to the terminal which is marked with the letter N or coloured
black;
The wire which is coloured brown must be connected to the terminal which is marked with the letter L or coloured
red.
13 Amp plugs must have a 3 Amp fuse fitted.
