Everyone is impressed with our In-Wall Closed Box series.
These unique models have defined a new level of in-wall
speaker performance with their solid, sealed MDF enclosures,
their easy installability, and their incredible placement
flexibility.
Now, we’ve taken the IWCB’s to a new level, with the
IWCB-727. The 727 is like a world-class athlete with all the
right moves: fast, powerful, and adaptable to virtually any
situation.
In fact, the 727’s performance is so good, it’s the very first
speaker of any kind to earn THX’s new stringent Select2
certification.
The 727 retains all the great features and technology of the
IWCB-52, -525, and -626:

But the IWCB-727’s performance goes beyond that of the
others in our Closed-Box line. It uses two sophisticated 6 ½”
carbon-fiber woofers in a 2 ½-way configuration, for maximum
output, sensitivity, power-handling, and optimum midrange
dispersion characteristics, as well as a brand-new
versionofourfamous1”LRT,forevenbetter
top-octave extension and greater HF
power radiation.
