6. The ‘Manual Addressing’ screen will
automatically suggest the rst avail-
able address. The default serial num-
ber for a device with an unassigned
address is a series of zeros.
If the suggested address is accept
-
able, click ‘Add Device’ and proceed
to Step 8 (Figure 4-11).
If an address different from the one
suggested is desired, click on the up/
down arrows next to ‘Device Address’
to specify the new address for the de-
vice. Click on the up/down arrows next
to ‘Vendor Code’ to select the vendor
(AN = Andrew Corporation). Replace
the zeros in the serial number eld
with the serial number of the device
(Figure 4-10).
7. Click ‘Add Device’ (Figure 4-11).
8. Click ‘OK’ (Figure 4-12).

device. Serial numbers are
automatically displayed here when
a known device address is selected.
