Add the alignment hex bolts to the end holes of the joint plates as shown in Figure 3-
33a (outside and inside of plate) to ensure that it is evenly aligned; and use hex bolts to
fill the rest of the joint plates as shown in Figure 3-33b. THESE MUST NOT BE DRI-
VEN, BUT INSERTED BY HAND.
NOTE: All bolts should be inserted from the same direction using a bolt, flatwasher
under a lockwasher and nut on joint plate and a bolt and locknut on the seam.
