CR100 Universal remote control
NOTE
Remember to install the four AAA batteries supplied
before trying to use your remote control.
The CR100 is a ‘universal’ remote that controls the AVR350 and up to
seven other devices. The instructions on this page only refer to the
control of the Arcam AVR350.
For information on using the remote control for other devices, and a
full list of its features, see the Handbook supplied with the CR100.
Device selection
IMPORTANT: Press the ‘AMP’ button rst to
operate the AVR350.
On/Stand-by
This allows the AVR350 to be put into and taken
out of stand-by remotely.
If you do not wish to put Zone 2 into stand-by at
the same time as the main zone, press and hold
the stand-by button on the remote control for
more than 3 seconds.
MENU
Press to select the OSD Main menu.
Press and hold for more than three seconds to
select the ‘Set-up Menu Index’.
TAPE
Selects Tape input for the amplier
Navigation buttons
Arrow buttons allow navigation around the Basic
and Advanced Set-up menus on the AVR350.
Conrm a selection by pressing OK.

to Power on

to switch Zone 2 on
SHIFT
D
to switch Zone 2 off.

Press the relevant button once to select input.
MUTE
Press once to mute the main system. Press again
(or use VOL +/–) to un-mute.
VOLUME +/–
Adjusts the sound output.
MODE
Cycles through available audio surround modes.

Press the relevant button once to select input and
recongure the handset. Press and hold to select
the input without reconguring the remote.
DISP (Display)
Press to cycle through Off/Dim/Bright illumination
of the front panel display

If the tuner is in Preset mode, these buttons give
the next Preset radio station down (

). If the tuner is in Tune mode, these buttons
decrease/increase the tuning frequency.
