Speakers don't work

Just bought a new Dell 530 computer with these speakers. Plugged the green cord into the green outlook on the back of the computer and the USB cable into the USB port but the speakers are not making any sounds. Is there something on the speakers themselves that need to be done?

Never mind - I found the well comouflaged speaker volume on the speaker itself.

I had the same problem. I tried everything within the software. It turns on there is a circular on/off switch camouflaged. I hope this helps you figure this out quicker.
