no amplification...

do i need a cross over network to make this thing work, coz i just have the input signal coming out of the mixer then equalizer. i can hear a little signal coming out of the speaker. do i need to see the LED "normal" to be lit?? when i turn on the amp .coz
it doesn't..thnks desperate tech
