need help

My mesa boogie 295 is obviously wired for a 120volt ac US power supply, problem is i live in Australia.. supply 240v ac, the techs in the U.S have told me there's a 240 volt tap point there, and looking at it, it appears to be so, problem is after sales service is not great and i can't get my hands on a schematic.. help would be great as the 240/120 step down I'm using is a pain to lug around and it hums..
