Play Forward and Back Buttons Mechanical Problem
Posted by indiana on Jul 14th, 2008 at 9:01am

The "cap" that keeps the play/forward/back buttons in the player came off while I was jogging. I put the cap and button assembly back on but now the buttons do not work mechanically (do not spring back, they just stay pressed down). If I take the cap off I can still use the player by pressing the little clickable metallic discs inside the unit, but I don't want to keep doing this. I may be missing another piece that goes under the cap and buttons. Can I get an "exploded" view of the player to see this missing part? (If indeed that is the problem). Is there a simple workaround?
