When I push the system power control button, the unit goes into the tuner mode for several seconds and then turns off automatically.

    I have the same problem with an AVR 20 receiver. When I hit the power button it turns on for a couple seconds then turns off. I can't get an answer from anyone and nobody will look at it for less than $50.

  • Advice to Date

    I have called the service centre Erickson who informed me that this may be a problem with the mother board or something similar and that for $45.00 CDN they would check and get back to me! Does this make sense to anyone else out there? Thanks in advance.

  • 'Protect' flashes on receiver

    I have a similar problem - when I turn on the AVR 35 it shuts off within 1 or 2 seconds and then shows "Protect" on the display. Can't figure out the problem - help!!!
