Atlas Sound In-Ceiling Speaker FAP62T

We would like to know if we have to polarize the speakers or just hook up the wires positive+ to +positive & negative- to-negative... iI the past, I"ve been instructed to polarize the speakers with a 9 volt battery...hooking up the pos.+ to the pos.+ terminal and the same with the negative side... Is this necessary or not... Please advise thank you... Mark Schaeffer
