no sound coming out on CD
I have sound coming into the board, but no sound coming out on the CD. Aux 4 on my board is for the sound (on the CD) and it is set correctly. This problem just happened last Sunday and we have had this player for almost a year. Is there a volumn button on the player?

cd on the player just quit working cd tries to play but comes back error then ejects. I have removed the cd unit of the player it just slips in and out as a separate unit from the radio,can the part be replaced. PART from CDX-CA700X player

Hi, how can I use the Audio Input on the back side to listen to the music from my mp3 player?
Even when I connect the two cinch cables I can't switch by clicking on Source to Aux, I can only listen to radio.

Just bought this unit on ebay - looked at the manual that is online but it doesn't tell me - Which wire goes to what?
I assume that a red wire would be hot & a black would be ground but what about the others? What color goes to what speaker etc.?
Any Help is appreciated,

CD player will not play WAV files
Burned some R/W CD that play in the computer but not in the CD player.
The package says "Read CD/R and CD R/W. "
WAV is an audio file for CD's.
What is wrong?

There is power to the unit but there is no sound from the radio or the CD disc.
There are 4 speakers and no sound from any. There are no blown fuses. The unit is installed on a boat.

I use this model to record sermons, we've used it for over two years. It plays cds well in deck A, but now the recording process in deck B is just freezing in the middle of the message and sending and error message. What's the problem? Does the recording head need cleaning?

I am trying to manually tune a station on my CD player (CDX-L410X) and I can only get it to scan stations. I want one that does NOT receive a station so I can use my iPod with the radio. It only seeks, not allowing me to get a station with a weak signal.

the subwoofer only works when the tuner is on. If you switch source to cd or aux input the subwoofer turns off!

I have the above model Sony Compact Disc Player.
However whenever there is a power blackout I lose the saved information regarding disc name and artist title.
Consequently I have to then reinput all the information again and again.
