We haven't used our home cinema system for several weeks but suddenly last night after it working it turned itself off. When we put it back it on it said hello and the said PROTECTION and turned itself off why and how do we solve it

Failing remote control
Our remote control is not working any more. Replacement is not possible. How can I use the buttons on the front panel to go to a next title on a DVD.
It does not work with tuning up and skip buttons on the front panel of the player.

When playing DVD after a while the sistem seds" PROTECTION ' and then switch it self off.When you start agen evry five minits it switch off.

Shutting Down
I have a Samsung HT-TX52 and it goes into PROTECTION mode and shuts down. The warranty just ran out, and was wondering what the problem was and an easy solution to solve this problem without loosing much more money through this product.

ok so we have hooked everything up and we get sound for the radio, dvd and all other but we can not get our sound for the TV to work, is there something that we might be doing wrong or need to hook up. We are running a direct TV box and then running all others threw a box because there are no imputs…

Picture Freeze
on some dvd's viewed through the HDMI the dvd player picture freezes and I can no longer watch the film. I can switch off the unit and eject the disk, on re-entering the disk the film/disk will play for a while but after a while the same thing happens again. I have already exchanged the unit once.

Picture Freezing
when playing a dvd after 20 plus minutes the picture will freeze, and you can not recover from this. I have exchanged the unit at the shop for a second one and this does the same. Is there a software update to fix this buffer purging problem

Think its overheating - blew out fan area and placed on shelf by itself?

Won't play the DVDs
It won't play DVDs but it played a video which was on the Optical Lens Cleaning DVD... without a problem ! What do I suppose to do ? What's wrong ???

can't make remote work
Watched a dvd last night, no problem.When I tried to turn on the audio component this AM, nothing happened. Changed batteries in remote. Unit still did not respond to remote. Can turn on & off, etc. with buttons on unit, but nothing happens with remote. Please help!

iPod Shuffle G2
I purchased an ipod shuffle dock converter and plugged it into the ipod outlet in the home theatre system, however, no sound seems to be coming out. Just wondering if the ipod shuffle g2 is compatible for this system.

DVD Player
When watching a DVD the DVD player shuts off with no apparent reason. We hit play again and it comes back on at the same spot it stopped but within a few moments it shuts off again.

"Protection" problem Shut Down
Whenever i Turn on my Samsung Home Theater SystemI have about 10 to 15 minutes to enjoy it because on the screen of the box it says Protection and then shuts down. It was working fine when i bought it but now i dont know what happened?

Humming Noise
I tried to view a DVD for the first time yesterday. The sound came out loud and clear. However, after ejecting the DVD and subsequently, a humming noise comes out of the main unit (DVD player) while watching regular TV. This occurs with the menu setting AUX 1 .

PROTECTION
Unit turns on for a split second. "PROTECTION" immediately flashes on the display and the unit turns off. Owners manual has no description of the problem.

THE UNIT CAME WITH A DIFFERENT REMOTE THAN THE ONE THAT IS SHOWN IN THE INSTRUCTION MANUAL.
