  DEMO MODE
  DEMO REPEAT PLAY IS SCROLLING ON SCREEN. I CAN NOT DO ANYTHING ELSE LIKE PLAY A MOVIE OR PLAY RADIO. IT WILL NOT LET THE REMOTE WORK EITHER.

  i have a mitsabishi tv and this system and can not get the surround sound to work when i am just watching tv only when watching a movie please help

  5.1 surround sound
  I tried using VSM while playing a CD but couldn't. I tried it in TV Aspect, Video Resolution, 5.1 Speaker Setup functions such as display, audiop, etc. but nothing happened. I called customer service 800 number and a lady told me I needed to set up using a DVD so I did. I tried it with the DVD on and off. I could not access VSM with the DVD not playing but with the DVD playing , I repeatedly pushed the VSM and got Virtual and Bypass, no PLII Movie or anything else. The rear speakers worked on Virtual. With a CD in Disk 1 and a DVD in Disk 2, I played the DVD and while it was playing I pushed VSM and got Virtual and Bypass only. I left it on Virtual and switched to the CD but the rear speakers are not working. I switched back to the DVD and the rear speakers work. Bottom line, No access to PL II Movie or PL II Music. Am I going to be able to get Surround Sound while playing CD's which is why I bought it? Thanks. Richard
