No battery charge
My battery is out of order so i bought a new one (from e-bay) .It looks the same,it fits ok but when i plug in the ac adapter the battery charge led initialy does not come up and after a long period it start to "bleep" continiously. What does mean?

New Used Laptop
I bought one of these off ebay and it worked great for a couple weeks. Now it turns on but the screen flashes Compaq and then goes blank. No Windows opening up. Anyone know what's going on? (I'm not too knowledgeable.) Thanks

How do I set keyboard to normal
Dear Sir/madam,
Please can you advise how I can set the keyboard to type with ease. That is to say when I hit 'O' or 'P' I need not depress the 'fn' key. For if I don't I will type '6' or '*'.

screen size admsutment and DVD operation
screen size is too large so that all icons are not in view and cannot play DVD, also can not play DVD on WIN DVD 2000, notice appears saying "create overlay failed, please lower your screen resolution or color depth and try again." wgat di U need to do (manual did not come with computer)
